Single Vehicle Injures 10 In Seattle

A single pickup truck struck 15 different vehicles, injuring 10 people in Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood on Friday, October 31st. The truck was being driven at an estimated 60 to 70 MPH when it began hitting vehicles along 53rd Avenue. Nine of the 15 vehicles hit were occupied. One vehicle, which was forced over upon impact, contained two small children who were transported to Harborview Medical Center for evaluation. Two of the 10 injured victims of this multi-car accident are still in the hospital.

This accident is perhaps the most bizarre to occur on Halloween, but it is not the only multi-vehicle accident in the Seattle area that night. Two other accidents, one on highway 302 in Gig Harbor and one on South 12th Street in Tacoma, also resulted in several injuries.
